The Odyssey is one of Starfleet's newest exploration vessels, her mandate being "to explore strange new worlds...to seek out new life, and new civilizations" in the frontier of Bode's Galaxy. Odyssey is currently under the command of one of Starfleet's most experienced Captains, CAPT Vertinax, played by Marco Mueller Odyssey is part of ASR: BEYOND, which is based on a "future" timeline set in the year 2771.
