Blue Fleet Patch

Blue Fleet Central Database

Introduction

BLUE Fleet straddles the Alpha and Beta quadrants, and is located between Green and Gold Fleets. Headquartered at Starbase Gamma, it borders on the Romulan Star Empire, and curves coreward around Green Fleet so that it shares a border with Silver Fleet as well.

Now closed to RP as a separate fleet, Blue still functions as one of ASR's Non-Role Play fleets, contributing to the background imagery of ASR's story arc.

In the future, it is hoped that this site may develop into a full-fledged archive of historical information relevant to Blue's past. Please check back from time to time, as the coming months may see this project come to fruition.

Any questions regarding Blue Fleet should be directed to Jeffrey Jenkins, who once served as an administrator in BLUE Fleet, or Scott Lusby, the CINCSF and current webmaster.

What is ASR?

Alt.StarFleet.RPG (or ASR) is a Usenet newsgroup on the Internet. Using email and Usenet, ASR players create an interactive fiction universe based on Star Trek: The Next Generation, extrapolated approximately 40 years after the end of the series. Players create characters and, along with other players, develop stories set around starships, starbases, and the various beings that inhabit both. ASR, founded in 1991, has grown to 17 role-playing units, organized into 3 distinct timelines, involving around 100 players. It continues to grow and prosper.

To learn more about ASR, you can visit the ASR Homepage.

At this site, you can find instructions on how to join ASR in the ASR FAQ, as well as other official documents, and links to other starship homepages. This FAQ is also posted periodically on the newsgroup.
