Where it all began- in existence since 1991, currently supports 10 starships and starbase writing units spread across two "color" fleets- [[Blue Fleet]] and [[Silver Fleet]].  Their goal: protect the Federation and its members in an ever-increasingly dangerous galaxy, all while pushing the frontiers of science and discovery.

Opened in May 2009 shortly after the release of ''Star Trek'' in theaters, ORIGINS is set shortly after the destrcution of Vulcan by the Romulan renegade Nero.  Split into two fleets- [[ORIGINS: Sixth Fleet|6th Fleet]] and [[ORIGINS: Twelfth Fleet|12th Fleet]]- the Captains of the ''Constitution''-class starships are tasked with "seeking out new life and new civilizations" first and foremost.  But not everyone shares the Federation's high morals and ethics...
