Background
Rr'Kesh was born to a pair of Starfleet officers at Starbase 515, a major medical center with facilities in many of the cities in the planetary colony.
Many of Rr'Kesh's parents' friends were medical workers and Starfleet personnel, growing up with them meant a future in the service was a natural choice for him.
The USS VALLETTA assigned to Cardassian space to render assistance in the aftermath of the Shard uprising and the Union joining the Federation. Rr'Kesh began his career as a medic, and completed his doctorate during the tour.
