ASR: ORIGINS is a "free thread," an offshoot outside of the normal writing environment of [http://alt-starfleet-rpg.org ASR].


The ORIGINS universe is an "alternate timeline"- specifically, the one created by the Romulan Nero's travel back through time and his subsequent actions.  The setting is the year 2261, roughly equivalent to the time period of ''The Original Series''.  As such, many of the names we have come to know and love are with us again.
