Report CSFO 1013

From StarFleet Bureau of Information

Dear people,

We all know the problems our club has been facing for long already, and how difficult it is to solve them. There are some interesting looking suggestions coming up on the Agenda, I'm looking forward to the discussion.

Moving from email to forum based playing might be a good idea, properly done it gives the club more visibility with all the great graphics that have been created for ASR over the years, and also brings gameplay in the same environment with the BOI data.

One thing for each of us to consider is not to overcommit ourselves. Starting new characters is fun, especially to a unit with a friend, but is it as much fun after a year? We may find ourselves focusing on the primary character or two, while the one in the less active unit gets treated like a ginger headed Canadian.

Perhaps we should adjust the number of our units again so we have an active fleet with players having only one or two character per universe, so our butter keeps spread on reasonable plateau of bread. For the insatiable McNeelys among us there is always the opportunity to begin a Free Thread and run a ship all by yourself.

That being said, let's have a good meeting and hopefully the April RT can begin with more optimistic note.

Respectfully,
Markku Herd
