Nessa meet Victor Hanford a doctor in St Maries Hospital. After her
experince in the academy, Vanessa refuse to date Victor and kept him
at bay for sometime. After graduating from StarFleet Medical, Vanessa
married Victor Hanford. They had abeautiful baby girl named Victoria
nicknamed Tori. Life seemed perfect. Then a year later Victor was
diagnosed with an incurable disease. After the death of her husband,
trying to be two parents for her child, Nessa completed her Internship and
Residency at St. Maries Hospital, she felt she desperately
needed a new scene to try and get over the loss of her husband.
 
The move to a new ship in the galaxy seemed the perfect place to grow
and become the woman she could be proud of. The world was her platter
and all she had to do was eat from it.
 
Vanessa Hanford's stay on USS BURKE was short. She ended up having to
take a personal leave of absense from Star Fleet due to a private illness
that nearly ended her young life. But she refuse to go down without a fight
so with tests, therapies, medication and meditation, she beat this deadly
attack on her body and was mentally and spiritually stronger.
 
She returned to Star Fleet more eager than ever to serve and heal others.
She was assigned to USS COVENTRY. Her three years old daughter Tori joined
her mother. The people she met on COVENTRY changed her life. She found that
her best friend from the academy Rennie Mendoza was assigned as a nurse in  
her department. It was Steven E. Paris who made a huge impact on her life.
They met and fell head over heals in love and were engaged in a matter of weeks.  
During the mission to BEA Steven was shot down and was MIA. This nearly upset
her world but manage to stay positive. Not too long after her fiancee went
missing Hanford learned a secret. She was pregnant due to a defective hypospray.
The lovers were reunited and married on 171202 by Captain Peter Erickson.
 
 
Captain Peter Erickson eldest son was kidnapped during the mission to BEA.
Vanessa left Tori behind on SB DELTA with her parents while she and Steven
went to San Francisco, California, Earth to help find Arthur Erickson. Vanessa
stayed with Amelda Janus in London, England while her husband went on to San
Francisco, California. Unfortunately Amelda Janus died from shock and the
Captains son Arthur who had finally been rescued parished as well. It had
been a blow to them all.
 
Vanessa and Alex reunited with the COV crew. The Paris family was reunited
when they returned to SB DELTA. They spent some time with their daughter Tori
and then went ona two week honeymoon to Betazed. Upon their return they found
out that they, as well as the cov and her crew, were going to be reassigned to
SB SAIKAI.  


The doctor was a happy woman indeed to be able to raise her growing family on a

and effect of not putting her own needs first can cause an adverse effect

      Joh Trev'aal was born Specimen 0551-B at the Anholm Genetics
and Cybernetics Research Facility on Mardan IV, within the Cardassian
De-Militarized Zone. From birth he was trained in all forms of combat,
armed and unarmed, scientific knowledge, diplomatic protocol, and flying.
At the age of 10 he was implanted with a Neural Link, and trained in
espionage and all manner of covert activities.
      Four days after his 16th birthday, the Facility was discovered
and destroyed by the Cardassians, all the scientists and experiments
taken to a Prison Colony, where most would remain for the rest of their
lives. After eight years of labor, he, along with two hundred other
experiments, started a riot in the colony. Only him and four others
managed at escape alive and spent the next year on the run from Cardassian
authorities before making an escape into Federation space.
    The five made it to Earth, where they disappeared into society. Taking
on the name Joh Trev'aal, Joh applied to Starfleet Academy and was accepted.
Two years later he was involved in a violent brawl which was begun by another
cadet. During the course of the brawl the cadet who initiated the fight, whom
had shown deep animosity towards Joh since he entered the Academy, attacked Joh.
Making a rather unfortunate mistake, Joh fell back on the combat training he
received at the AGCRF, nearly killing the cadet. Due to the fact that security
cameras within the area the brawl was were destroyed, Joh was sentenced to
rehabilitation on testimony of cadets who claimed he had attacked the cadet
without provocation with the intent to kill.
        During his time in the rehabilitation facility in New Zealand, the
true story behind the brawl, as well as the full details of Joh's past were
brought into the light. Starfleet released him from the facility, offering him
the option of entering Starfleet Marine Corps Basic School on the condition that
if he were involved in such an incident again, he would be expelled with no
chance of re admittance. He took the offer and soon afterwards entered the Basic School.

      Joh Trev'aal was genetically engineered with dense skeletal
and muscular structure, 10% higher than norm reflexes, and enhanced
cognitive processing abilities. The Neural Link allows him to access
computer terminals at a distance of ten feet, although the process
requires a significant amount of his focus and concentration.
      Atitude-wise, Joh has a problem with authority. When he feels
that a certain person in authority does not deserve to be in that
position, he is much less likely to follow orders from them, and will
become more confrontational with them. Mildly arrogant, with a wry
sense of humor and a sardonic outlook on life.

      Cadet Trev'aal has consistently shown superior fitness and
conditioning than most of the other human cadets. He excels at all
kinds of combat, and if it weren't for the fact that he's an arrogant
pain in the ass with no respect for authority, he might graduate
at the top of his class.

      Cadet Trev'aal has shown consistent disrespect for any authority
figure he does not believe deserves the position they hold. He is also
arrogant, and shows an almost disturbing lack of care for his own personal safety.
      Aside from that, he shows incredible dedication to his studies,
as well as possible PTSD, most likely caused by his experience at the Anholm facility.

On Writing for Trev'aal:
        When writing Joh, be sure to keep in mind that he never
had a childhood. From the moment he was born to the present, life
has either consisted of intense study or intense labor. He has never
really learned how to 'have fun', relating everything to either
work or proverbial combat.
Note on Anholm:
        The Anholm Genetics and Cybernetics Research Facility,
although having legitimate research, was also involved with
experimentation on human genetics, trying to recreate the works
of pre-Eugenics Wars scientists without the same downfalls. The
specimens that survived were then trained to serve in various
expendable mercenary functions. Both the Federation and the
Cardassians were looking for the Facility to shut it down.
Unfortunately, the Cardassians found it first, wiped it out, and
then claimed there were no survivors while interrogating the
captured persons for the purpose of both finding out what all
the scientists accomplished and to try to use these surviving
specimens for their own use. When the latter proved impossible,
they were sent to prison camps to die.
        The extent of Joh's training was enough that he could
theoretically perform in just about any capacity required of him,
but not enough to provide a sure chance of success in the field.
After all, as Specimen 0551-B he was considered expendable, as
there were at any given time 200-450 other specimens at the facility
who could be purchased and used.

Cedric grew up as a loner. His family was totally dysfunctional. His 
mother and father did their own separate hobbies and had little 
interaction with their son. The only thing that kept their family 
together was the struggle to survive in hard economic times. When 
Cedric entered into school, he had developed very little social skills 
which further put him at a disadvantage. As he grew older he isolated 
himself from his parents and classmates. Cedric had a small group of 
friends who could relate with him and though he considered them his 
true friends, his relationships were often unstable and turbulent. 
In his teen years, Cedric grew rebellious and ended up in some trouble 
for minor acts of vandalism. By graduation from high school, Cedric was
cutting to put reality to his internal pain.

At Age 18, he recieved an appointment to Star Fleet Academy, in San
Francisco, largely due to his father being a local senator, with a small
amount of influence.  However, there, he turned his life around, and
excelled both in academics, and other persuits.  While he was at the
academy, both of his parents died within a short time from disease.

He later met and married his wife, Katherine fairly early in his career.
Between his long absenses away from home, there wasn't much time.  Though
he wanted children, Katherine never got pregenant.

VII. PSYCHOLOGICAL PROFILE

Once deemed mentally unstable, Cedric spent some time in a psychiatric
institute when he was twenty two. He was diagnosed with Borderline
Personality Disorder, Major Depressive Disorder, Panic Disorder and an
extreme case of ADD. Cedric suffered with depression since his early teen
years, in which he slowly became more and more introverted and isolated.
He was forced into counseling when he was sixteen but was incompliant with
it. As life kept dealing him blow after blow, Cedric became jaded with life
and started to despise society. When he was twenty one, Cedric lost his
mother at the hands of his father. Shortly thereafter he fell into a
relationship with a younger immature lady. She slowly degraded him, which
eventually led to a mental breakdown and the subsequent psychiatric
hospitalizations. Cedric realized that he needed to be compliant with his
treatment.  Cedric also left the woman that he loved and it devastated him,
but it was for the best. Since then Cedric has had slow progression with his 
disorders but continues to this day continues treatment for them.
